Did this last week in West Virginia. Didn't wanna lug markers with me so I lugged colored pencils. Although I did bring some fraggle reference with me, I didn't use it for this so Gobo here is pretty much reeking of ass-pullage. ;-)

I had 'lil " m " birds flying around behind him to make that waterfall ( yeah, that's supposed to be a waterfall ) seem farther away. Didn't work so I painted them out. :-)

Of course Gobo is the property of the Henson Folk.

Wow! This drawing of this character it's so snazzy and cool!!! :wow: :love: I just love the pose and expression cos they makes this dude looks so confident and dashing and COOL!!! :iconloveloveplz: :excited: :wow: :giggle: I love how you did the little tail the most! :giggle: The tail with that fluffly thing in the top it's very well drawn and it's so awesome! Also I love the way you use the colors! The colors are so well blended! It looks like you paint this on the computer! :wow:
I have to say I don't know who this character is, cos I haven't seen that show in my life =P....indeed I never really cared about it or if it's transmitted here where I live, even if I've seen art of it here, cos I thought it was for babies so it might be silly and boring :lol:....but now I see this pic, Oh boy! I have to admit your drawing makes me want to see the show!!! :excited: Due the drawing and in part for what you're saying that Jim Henson's producitions is behind this show! :wow: I'm fan of Jim and his work since he was alive, and his staff is still making great shows now even now that he died :) so maybe it's a good show to watch...Do you watch it? How is it?

Thanks. Fraggle Rock is more of a family-fantasy show if anything. I've been watching it since the 80s. It's one of my favorite shows. There are plenty of episodes on Youtube or you can get the series on DVD. I'd recommend watching it in order.

I have several other Fraggle Rock pictures in my gallery if you're interested. :aww:

Yeah, I actually saw your other pics and they're all lovely and really elegan and lively! I love your style to draw Fraggle characters, It's so beautiful and mind-blowing awesome!!! :excited: :iconiloveitplz:
In particular adored this portrait of Gobo, he looks so cuute yet so cool at the same time! <3 :wow: He looks like a great leader! :D I love the espression, it gives him a very friendly and warm looking!
And the style! You style to draw fraggles it's so gorgeous! The figure of the body, the legs, and the hands, the fluffy hair in his head and tail; and whole body is really gracious, realistic and aesthetic! :love: :wow: :excited: It's so well drawn that it makes me think the fraggles are not puppets, but aliens from a distant plannet, and the show it's not fantasy, but sci-fi! :excited: They look like aliens when you draw them, I wish there was an animated version of the show with your drawings in it!

Hehe I'd definitively like to watch the show, and indeed I'm starting to watch the first episode on youtube, but since I'm from Mexico and I don't have "a good ear" for English, it's a bit difficult to get what they're saying ^^; I wish there were Spanish subtitles, cos there is a few episodes with a spanish from spain version, and I'd like one who doesn't have that weird accent from spain.I don't know if the show was transmitted here, but I saw the first part of the episode 1 and I loved the voices in English :love: Specially Boober's one, and I'm starting to like more Boober and Gobo, but also like Mokey, she looks to be pretty calm :aww: And red it's very active and fun

Thanks again. There also is an animated version of Fraggle Rock... but truthfully, I don't think it's as good as the puppet show.

Hmmm... They did do Fraggle Rock in several languages. They wanted to make the show available to the entire world. Their english voices tend to be the best ones though. :D
